This one is a 1981 Viper-ski Constrictor 500e, Equipped with a 19.2v electric motor,and a
aluminum body. This is one of my
second desighns for my "Viper-ski" Radio controlled snowmobiles.
The first one i built back in 81 had a 7.2v electric motor. The 19.2v
electric motor for this one i took out of a "New Brite" MXZ. Where the
Constrictor is smaller in scale, and lighter, I'm hoping it will be fast.
We will see.
This is a 1974 Viper-ski TM 340e, 7.2v equipped with direct
belt drive unit. Pictures will be avail. soon.
Here is a 1973 Viper-ski 440 Sno-max, with a 9.6v electric motor. This one should be more
fun to play with where the ski stance is wider. The gearing is the same, but a wider stance should make
tipping a less problem. All the other features of the 1970 model will
be the same. It also comes in a new gloss black coat of paint
unlike the common Red & White.

On the picture bellow is a close up of the detail in the paraslide
suspension on the 73 sno max. There are no gas shocks, just
simply two coil springs that make up the suspension.

I loved Moto-ski snowmobiles as a kid. My first sled was a 1973
Moto-ski Cadet. I had to build a 1963 Tin Cab when i seen one on
a website. This one has a 9.6v electric motor on it. I'm not sure about
the gearing though. These gears are all i currently had available. Even if it isn't fast,
as long as it has power, i'll be happy. I 'll use it to
groom my track for my other r/c sleds.

Comming soon!
I'm currently working on a magazine, called "RC Snowmobile", It will
be packed full of pictures, and stories from other R/C Snowmobile
fans like yourself, and also the latest products. This magazine will
cost $2.00 , which will all go towards the future development of
Viper-ski Radio controlled snowmobiles. Some magazines will
be available at local Hobby stores in Maine. If anyone is interested in
2000 Blade striker Mod
Here is a mod i have done with the front suspension of a R/C blade
striker i own. the shocks are gas shocks, and the a-arms a built
from "K&S" Brass tubing. The ski stance is 2'' wider than before.
